Mobile Home Roofing Solutions...

mobile home roofing solutionsLeaky roof got you feeling down? Well luckily for you, there are plenty of ways to go about fixing your problem right now. Save time and money by calling our professional representatives at All Weather Roofing! If you’ve got a bad cold, Band-Aids aren’t going to make you feel any better. With a patch-job on a roof leak, you’re addressing the symptoms but not the underlying cause. All Weather Roofing offers various mobile home roofing solutions to fit your needs and your budget. We will help you figure out the best mobile home roofing solution for you.

The Three Types of Mobile Home Roofing

All mobile and manufactured home roofs are initially designed in three different ways. Older mobile homes are built with flat or low-sloped roofs and are typically covered with asphalt or metal. Unfortunately, metal roofs are supposed to be coated every few years, but even with proper and frequent maintenance, small holes might still find their way into your roof. When you have to buckle down and invest in a new roof, there are three types to choose from:

  1. Aluminum Roof
  2. Rubber Roof (Seam and Seamless)
  3. Asphalt Shingles

Rubber roofs are the most viable option for long-term mobile home owners. Asphalt shingles are very heavy and mobile homes can only withstand one layer. As time goes on, you’ll find that the thin layer of roofing creates a crop of problems that will cost you even more money to fix.  Getting back to the basics, the corrugated metal roof is a simpler option that is typically the most affordable, but requires extensive maintenance. Regardless of the options, remember that all roofs are not created equally…

Making the Right Choice

If you’re somebody who enjoys the prospect of little upkeep, a TPO roof is your best option. A form of synthetic rubber, TPO provides you with a sturdy roof for years to come. The durable material does not crack under extreme temperatures and its reflective properties make it a great option for any mobile home owner who wants to lower their energy bill by up to 30% every single month. TPO is by and far the best option for the long-term mobile home owner. Energy efficiency, durability, and reliability make TPO a top choice for our clients.

Roof Overhaul

Leaks are not petty issues. A slow drip might not seem like a big deal to begin with, but the buildup of moisture can lead to serious problems if left unattended. Black mold, weak walls, and rotting wood can escalate from a small leak. Black mold causes respiratory issues like asthma and other adverse health problems. All Weather Roofing can repair your roof and patch it up, but a new roof is inevitable. Instead of attacking the symptoms, let the professionals at All Weather Roofing do a free video inspection and provide you with a free estimate.  With our trusted service and a lifetime transferable warranty, a TPO roof will not give you any grief.

All Weather Roofing Is Your Mobile Home Roofing Solution

All Weather Roofing has been serving the Tampa Bay area for more than 30 years. Rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau, it’s no wonder so many local residents continue to recommend us to their peers. Instead of giving in to the typical PVC rubber roof, make an effort to “go green” with TPO. PVC plasticizers wash away and add hazardous chemicals to the soil and weaken your roof—ultimately leading to cracks and leaks. With our professional installation, you can say goodbye to pesky leaks and hello to a sturdy roof.

A bad roof isn’t going to get any better unless you address the root of the problem. Don’t rely on patch-jobs and drip-catching buckets forever—get your roof in tip-top shape.   If you’re ready to make the plunge, get a free consultation with All Weather Roofing by giving us a call at 1-800-297-3758 or contact us online today.

Mobile Home Roof Replacement...

So—you’ve got enough leaks in the roof that if you saved up the dripping water, you could draw a bath. Or, you’ve noticed one leaky spot or signs of discoloration and want to attack the issue before it gets worse. Whatever your reason for wanting a roof replacement, All Weather Roofing can get the job done.

Is It Time For A New Roof?

Sometimes a patch job can fix up a leaky roof but usually, a leak is a sign that the roof is either aged or has endured its fair share of severe storms. After so many Band-aid repairs and fix-ups, the roof will eventually need full replacement. Determining whether or not your roof needs to be completely made over is easy when you properly assess the condition of your roof.

Yellowish-brown blotches on the ceiling are an indicator of a leaking roof. Weak spots in walls, or damp smells are telltale signs of damage and should be addressed sooner rather than later. Leaving leaks unattended creates mold that can seriously affect your health. Moisture also rots any wooden framework and can cause a structural collapse.

Before any of these issues cost you more in the long run, it’s probably better to save yourself the trouble and give All Weather Roofing a call. Our trained professionals will conduct a free video inspection of the roof so you know where the problem lies and can give you a fair cost estimate for full replacement or repair. Before you head to the hardware store for some do-it-yourself patch kits, think about fixing the underlying problem once and for all.

Leaks No More With TPO

TPO is a synthetic rubber that is pliable and heat-sealed for leak-proof durability. Even under the most extreme weather conditions that can stir up Florida’s otherwise sunny disposition, the TPO will not crack. TPO is resistant to fire, pollutants, and is environmentally friendly. Unlike PVC, plasticizers do not wash away into the surrounding soil and there is no chlorine in the material. There are different widths to choose from to fit your budget and is considerably low cost when you consider how much longer TPO will with relatively low maintenance.

Save Money With Energy Efficiency

Not only is TPO cost efficient in terms of labor and installation, but TPO’s unique reflectivity means you won’t be wasting your money cranking the A/C on full blast on a hot summer day. About 78% of the energy from the sun’s rays are reflected so your roof stays cool day in and day out. After you get your new and improved TPO roof, you will start to notice in your energy bills how energy efficient TPO really is.

The Hassle-Free Process

Even if haven’t decided whether you really want to get a new roof installed, there’s no reason you can’t give All Weather Roofing a call to schedule your free, no-obligation video inspection. Our trained professionals will inspect your roof and show you the footage so you can see with your own eyes what needs to be addressed and how much it would cost. Roof Over Options...

TPO membranes are produced in thicknesses ranging from 45 to 90 mils and have become a popular choice in recent years as they can be more energy efficient due to the reflective nature and associated energy efficiency of white membranes.  PVC membranes are also heat welded single ply membranes, and are typically produced as a white sheet similar to TPO’s.

Single ply membrane roof details:

Single ply roofing membrane systems combine both polypropylene (plastic) and ethylene-propylene (rubber) using state-of-the-art polymer manufacturing technology. The result is an ideal roofing system that is reliable, cost effective, energy efficient and easy to install.

Our line of products offers a comprehensive line of single ply roofing solutions. TPO single ply roofing, and PVC roofing  membranes all deliver excellent weather ability and long-term strength and flexibility, as well as excellent resistance to punctures and tears. In addition, our membranes are exceptionally resistant to chemicals, grease and UV light. With All Weather Roofing single ply roofing membranes; there are many choices to suit a variety of applications and needs.

As part of a cool roof solution, our white TPO and PVC roofing membranes deliver high reflectivity and emissivity without an additional coating. This will keep your building cooler, reduce energy consumption and power bills, and minimize the “urban heat island effect”. Many systems meet the EPA’s Energy Star® guidelines and could qualify for LEED® credits in several categories.

Most any roofing membrane will do a good job in the short term, but most customers want roofing requiring little maintenance over time.  If you’re looking for that kind of long-term, carefree performance, always specify a roofing membrane containing TPO or PVC.  Our roofs will give you years of reliable protection against any leaks.

All weather roofing offer various thickness of membrane for your roofing needs.  Our 60mil can be installed on your home for a little extra expense and comes with a MANUFACTURED BACK WARRANTY.  No one else in the industry offers the 60 mil.  It is your home and your choice.  Ask your sales rep about our full line of membranes.

Single Ply roofing membranes provide a variety of materials to choose from. Their main characteristic is that they are designed to be installed in one layer. They also exhibit great flexibility and they are resistant to UV radiation.  They are superior when compared to other products.

The seams on the single-ply membranes will be hot-air welded together to form cohesive laps. When thermoplastic (TPO; single ply) membranes cool, they return to their original material type. Two of the most commonly used thermoplastic single-ply membranes are PVC and TPO, both of them plastic-based materials. Thermoplastic membranes are usually manufactured to include a reinforcement layer, normally polyester or fiber glass that provides additional strength and stability.

Our single ply roofing products offer these characteristics:

  1. Excellent against acid rain conditions
  2. Excellent performance under dramatic weather changes
  3. Will not suffer major problems under the presence of chemical materials
  4. Wide variety of grades available to choose from(grades are the type of protection desire from the product)
  5. Lightweight product
  6. Excellent reflective properties
  7. Easy to install
  8. Economic feasible
  9. Environmentally friendly-can save the home owner as much as 30% on heating and cooling bill.

The current generation of TPO (thermoplastic poly olefin) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) single-ply roofing systems have achieved an outstanding performance record in the low-slope roofing market. These single-ply membranes have been available and successfully performing in roofing applications for quite some time — well over  20 years.  We have some roofs that have been on since day one of our company’s inception and that was in 1984.  These roofs are still providing our customers with a quiet and great energy savings with a peace of mind that they do not have to worry about any leaks to their home.

30+ Year Performance

IB Roof Systems has active roofs that continue to perform in excess of 30 years while most other types of roof materials fail and need to be replaced nearly 3 times faster. And when a roofing system lasts longer, there is a significantly reduced need for raw materials, lessening the demand for manufacturing new products, diminishing the transportation needs to distribute those products, reducing the amount of construction waste of alternative roofing materials sent to landfills, and cutting energy usage needed to incinerate and/or recycle the spent product.

Lifecycle takes on a whole new environmental significance when looked at from this angle.
So before you look at what sustainable technologies you want to integrate, make sure you keep in mind the most important need of your roof. Look at your roofing material carefully. How long ago was it manufactured? Is there documentation of how long the material will last or has lasted?

IB Roof Systems has this proof — actual samples from a 30 year old roof prove how IB Roof Systems membrane will perform. IB Roof Systems membrane is the best choice to facilitate and be the backbone of any sustainable roofing technology.
